The doctorate program is offered to Aerospace Engineers but is also open to other graduates (Physics, Mathematics, Biology, etc.) that want to develop their specialties in the aerospace field. To access the doctorate program you need a master level (see the admision requirements).

Once the applicant is accepted in the program he needs not to follow any additional lectures. The applicant must find a research group where the Ph. D. can be performed (with the help of the Doctorate Program Manager if needed), according to his/her interests. By the end of the first year the student must submit a Ph. D. proposal, and once it has been approved he or she can develop the rest of its research until the submission of the Ph. D. The expected time for the development of the Ph. D. is three to four years.

Complete information on the Ph.D. development and legal aspects is availaible at http://doctorat.upc.edu/tesi/index.php?id=3
